As a highly trained therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist, Dr. Kaufman has dedicated her career to providing comprehensive, exceptional eye care to patients throughout the Westlake, Lake Travis, and Greater Austin communities — and will continue that care at Westlake Eye Studio, opening in Spring 2027.

Dr. Kaufman earned her undergraduate degree right here at the University of Texas at Austin before graduating magna cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. For over a decade and a half, she has been a trusted Austin and Westlake eyecare provider, delivering advanced eye exams, tailored vision correction, and specialized medical ocular disease management. Her clinical focus includes comprehensive eye care, cutting-edge dry eye treatment, macular degeneration monitoring, glaucoma management, and hard-to-fit specialty contact lenses.

Deeply rooted in the local region, Dr. Kaufman has long been committed to improving the vision and long-term health of families in the greater Austin communities. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Central Texas Optometric Society, ensuring her patients receive the most modern, evidence-based eye care available.

Outside the exam room, Dr. Kaufman enjoys taking advantage of everything Central Texas has to offer — from swimming and wakeboarding on local lakes to exploring the Texas Hill Country with her husband, their two children, and their dogs.
